Abstract

The study examines digital practices, family-cohesion indicators, and the quality of their measurement using 60 complete questionnaire records labeled as responses from fathers and mothers. A descriptive correlational analysis was applied to 30 items grouped into six domains. Mean scores were 3.47 for digital interference, 3.30 for supportive digital communication, 3.21 for regulation, and 3.32 for the overall cohesion composite. None of the three Pearson correlations with cohesion was statistically significant at the .05 level. All domain-level internal-consistency estimates were unsatisfactory; Cronbach’s alpha for overall cohesion was negative (−0.208). The spreadsheet contains no verifiable documentation of participant recruitment or collection dates. Given these measurement and provenance limitations, the findings represent a descriptive and exploratory analysis of the recorded values, not evidence of a causal effect or a representative estimate for Libyan households. A revised, validated instrument and documented field procedures are necessary for substantive conclusions.
