A standard study of the impact of the exchange rate on the Libyan trade balance using the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method during the period 1970-2024.

This research demonstrates that the impact of exchange rate on Libya trade balance during the period of 1970 to 2024, co-integration approach was adopted in current research by using ARDL method and error correction method to investigate the impact of exchange rate on balance trade. The results which come out from the research showed that the exchange rate has positive impact on balance trade in the short and long term.
