Abstract

This research examines the educational implications of the Prophetic hadith: “Whoever equips a fighter in the cause of Allah, or equips a pilgrim, or takes care of his family in his absence, has participated in the reward of his action,” and their contemporary applications in light of the Sustainable Development Goals: An Applied Foundational Study.

The study aims to identify the educational and social values contained in this Prophetic tradition, clarify their role in building individuals and communities, and explore their contemporary applications in addressing social challenges.

The research employs an inductive approach to derive educational values from the hadith, an analytical approach to examine its meanings through classical scholarly interpretations, and a descriptive approach to present contemporary applications related to these values, while connecting them with the principles of sustainable development.

The study concludes that the Prophetic Sunnah provides an integrated educational framework based on social responsibility, cooperation, solidarity, volunteering, and sustaining beneficial actions. It also demonstrates that these values correspond with several Sustainable Development Goals, particularly quality education, poverty reduction, and strengthening partnerships for achieving development.

The research recommends integrating educational values derived from the Sunnah into educational and social programs and encouraging interdisciplinary studies that combine Hadith studies, education, and sustainable development.
