Embodied Cognition or Abstract Representation? Testing Competing Accounts of Transparent and Opaque English Idiom Learning through Augmented Reality

الملخص

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى مقارنة نظريتين لتعلّم التعابير الاصطلاحية، وهما نظرية الإدراك المتجسد ونظرية التمثيل المجرد، وذلك لمعرفة كيف يؤثر استخدام الواقع المعزز (AR) في تعلّم التعابير الاصطلاحية الإنجليزية الشفافة وغير الشفافة لدى طلبة المرحلة الجامعية الليبيين الدارسين للغة الإنجليزية كلغة أجنبية. اعتمدت الدراسة تصميماً تجريبياً حقيقياً من نوع 2 × 2 بعوامل مختلطة، حيث مثّل أسلوب التعلم (الواقع المعزز القائم على الإدراك المتجسد مقابل التعلم القائم على التمثيل المجرد) العامل بين المجموعات، بينما مثّل نوع التعبير الاصطلاحي (الشفاف مقابل غير الشفاف) العامل داخل المجموعات. شارك في الدراسة 108 طالباً وطالبة بمستوى كفاءة لغوية يتراوح بين B1 وB2، وتم توزيعهم عشوائياً على مجموعتين باستخدام أسلوب التخصيص العشوائي المخفي. تعلمت المجموعة الأولى 30 تعبيراً اصطلاحياً من خلال تطبيق للواقع المعزز يعتمد على العلامات (Marker-based AR)، حيث عرض التطبيق مشاهد ثلاثية الأبعاد متحركة وأنشطة تفاعلية تعزز المشاركة الحسية والحركية. أما المجموعة الثانية فقد استخدمت التطبيق نفسه، لكنها تلقت فقط تعريفات للتعابير، وترجماتها، وجملاً توضيحية، دون أي عناصر متحركة أو تفاعلية. وتم قياس قدرة الطلبة على التعرف على التعابير الاصطلاحية، وفهمها، وإنتاجها مباشرة بعد انتهاء التدريس، ثم أُعيد القياس بعد أربعة أسابيع.
